Why use Laurie Whitaker Design?
You want a new kitchen or bathroom, you want to open up walls, keep the character in your home, but make it inviting, warm, lighter and brighter, want better storage, a better flow. Maybe you want a full home remodel or room addition, want to get it ready to sell, but you have no idea where to start.
Problem – you can go to a Big Box store – get poor service, a cookie cutter plan, not great prices, and shoddy work. Or, you can look at fake Yelp reviews; call three different contractors get three different bids – NONE of them “apples to apples.” Are they licensed, bonded, will they show up on time, use subcontractors they have just hired, do quality work, come in cheap then kill you with change orders?
Solution – Call (310) 896-6759
Not only do I listen to what “you” want – even if you aren’t exactly sure what that is, but I work tirelessly to develop the best plan, list what materials you will need to purchase and, depending on what we work out, even shop with you and get you trade discounts.
My service can save you money – often my discounts will more than cover my fee and if you think you can handle it, you may even subcontract or do some of the work yourself. With my design work, advice and expertise you will be armed with the information you need to get competitive bids from competent contractors. I can also recommend people I know and trust.
